“Relief Ride for Haiti” July 29th – August 1.
A Progressive Motorcycle Ride to benefit our Haiti Partnership.
We give thanks for the people of the Diocese of Eau Claire, and for their generous response for the people of Jeanette Haiti, through donations to the Relief Ride! The Ride was a huge success! The riders were greeted and refreshed at each church they stopped at along the way, and the donations have, so far, totaled $8,000, with more coming in. The monies will be equally divided between the ongoing Trade School and the Coffee Project, both help our Haitian brothers and sisters build a sustainable community.

Harmony House Opening in Chippewa Falls
November 13, 2009 was the grand opening of a much needed refuge in Chippewa Falls. A large Victorian home was purchased and refurbished by Starting Points to provide a temporary home for families with no place to live. Christ Church adopted a room and provided home-made quilts, curtains, other personal effects for room residents.
The Summer Lunch Program
Every weekday, a free lunch is offered to the community. We are lucky to have willing, helping hands and fun activities for the kids!
